Fabulous 4th of July

As we have done for the past several years, we spent the 4th of July in Massachusetts with Bruno's family.  It was a wonderful weekend, as always.  The weekend was full of fun activities, lots of delicious food and time spent relaxing in his parents fabulous back yard.

Here are a few pictures that capture some of the fun we had. 

Bruno was able to arrange a "behind the scenes" tour of the New Bedford Buttonwood Zoo.  We actually got to pet the bears and put some treats out for them in their den (while they were in their cages)!

Then we were able to feed the elephants - grapes!

Next, we were off to New Bedford Harbor for a boat tour.

After the boat tour, the girls need a "little" treat!

Ahhh - relaxation!

Auntie Maurilia made some fabulous, festive desserts!

It was such a great weekend.  I'm so fortunate that I have such wonderful in-laws who we have a lot of fun with and are so thoughtful!
