Mommy!!!!

It's hard to convey the type of "mommy" yell I'm trying to write about without a video. It's not the-whiny-tired "mommy".  It's not the angry-stomp-your-feet "mommy".  It's not the I-just-woke-up-and-I-want-my "mommy".  It's not the cying-because-I-didn't-get-what-I-wanted "mommy".

It's the "mommy" that Abby yells when she sees me from across the playground when I pick her up from school and she runs towards me yelling "Moooommmmyyyy" with a gigantic smile on her face and her arms spread open wide just wating to jump into my arms for a great big, giant hug.  It is humbling and yet overwhleming to think that I bring that kind of emotion to someone's life.  But there is NO better way to be greeted by anyone, particularly someone who is three years old, especially at the end of a long day.  And I know Bruno feels the same way when he comes home after a long day and the girls come running to greet him at the front door with their arms open wide, waiting for him to pick them up.

These are the little moments that I cherish and try to lock away in my heart.
